I don't remember my lap times, to be honest.

Friendly suggestion. To ensure a smooth race, time of day should be set to 11:00 for the race. That will ensure smooth fps (frames per second) for the race on the whole track. No stuttering on the screen. The sun setting by turn 3 causes fps drop/stuttering rendering the effects. According to race info you put that the race is at dusk.
In the upcoming patch & the one that follows, the fps should be much smoother. Then time of day & weather won't matter.

I just thought it would be neat at dusk. Race will be at 11 then. Want the best experience possible for everybody. I had some frame drops after turn 1 at brands hatch today in the gt race just before the bridge. Strange no one else noticed.

Looking forward to some clean good racing with ya'll tomorrow. I'm curious, what lap times are ya'll achieving? Just ran a 1:30. Lots of room for improvement. These cars are pretty well balanced and easy to drive. Looking into suspension to get some more play out of it.

I hope the event is going well. I got back from a day at the lake only a few minutes ago. I won't be able to turn on the Xbox until tomorrow morning. Best of luck on the race! On a side-note, I had the worst time trying to register a full lap with this race configuration when I did some free practice yesterday. I'm not the best tuner and I've been trying no assists for the first time (always raced with at least the suggested line when playing other racing games). It was difficult at first, but after a few laps it really starts to feel even more immersive. Rockefelluh, A 1:30 sounds pretty good. I tend to get into trouble at the end of sharp(er) turns. I exit the turn with too much understeer and end up off-track more often than I enjoy to admit. Any suggestions on what to do?

I ended up running a 1:27.8. Gengral and Tremblax were running 1.26's. For the understeer I softened the front dampers and lowered the front tire pressure a wee bit. Dampers help with corner entry and exit. Tire pressure helps mid turn and turn in. I use this guide for suspension help. Really simple. Edit: Hold on, I am having issues linking it. Great race tonight guys, most fun racing online i have ever had (mind you i have never raced online much). I managed a 1:28.7 lap in the race with a completely stock tune and full tank of gas. I guess i will have to start learning to tune.
Thanks again.
