Nicve vid. You got the bad end of a couple wrecks from others through that race, just being in the wrong spot at the wrong time. I noticed at 9:40 on vid you didn't get a cut track penalty as you entered the pits that first time. Your lap wasn't dirty before going in, you did cut over the left-side "point" where the lines came together, but you didn't touch the green on the right side at all. Maybe that is the hard track limit that gives everyone penalties. I did make a thread about it on the PCars forum that Elmo did respond to saying they'd look into it. I know I wasn't the only one last night who got penalties from the pits. As I said in that thread, the actual slow-down penalty itself doesn't matter at all since it gets wasted by the pits speed limit anyway, but the cumulative penalties that this does contribute to did help end the race early for both Khal and docholiday. forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?39495-Catalunya-GP-Cut-Track-PenaltiesWhat are you using to record that? Twitch? or streaming to win10 pc? Do you have an external hard drive that you're using to record all of your races and then go back and edit afterwards?

Yeah, it's strange. The first time into the pits, I cut across the dividing line more than the second time; yet the second time in is where I got the penalty. I'm guessing that the inside line is where the problem is. When racing this track in the future (until it gets fixed), I'll err to the left.
Any thoughts on what happened to me at the 11:45 mark? The car seemed to lurch left for no reason. At that moment, I thought I had a blown tire (it was lap 29 and I pitted on lap 5), but the tire was fine. I even went another two laps before pitting.
I'm using a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 (http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hdpvr2-gaming.html) to capture the video (it is connected between the Xbox and the TV). The PVR is connected to a PC which I use to edit the video (with Microsoft's Movie Maker software).

Looked like you just got caught on the rumble kerb. I can't think why it would have spun that way though unless you tried to either brake hard, turn out, or stomp the throttle if you were at partial throttle before you touched that spot, but it was a wide open straight and there was no reason to brake or not be at full throttle prior to hitting it. There are some pretty significant bumps in the track scattered around, maybe you hit the inside of the kerb on one side while hitting a bump on the other and high-centered the car on the kerb itself. That could also cause the car to react badly, though probably not as wildly as it actually did in your video.
Edit: I might have to get me one of those. At least put the Gaming Edition Plus one on my wishlist. It just uses your PC's harddrive space, right? Didn't see anything about internal storage. Wouldn't be hard or very expensive to dedicate a 1-2TB drive just to recordings, save everything, then be able to look back and sort out the keepers. Wish I had something like this back when I was really into Black Ops 2. I used the built in recording system a lot for that game, but it was still a pain and I'd have loved to be able to do it all on my PC. Maybe also if I get into black ops 3 and/or Destiny Crucible again. there's always some awesome moments that would be great to be able to cut and save clips of. I appreciate the Xbox's built in recorder, but not having a kinect makes it a hassle to stop gameplay to make it record, and doing the editing/saving is also a bit of a pain.

The PVR is just a no-delay, pass through video device. It has an output through HDMI for the TV, and a USB connection to pass the video to the PC. There is software on the PC (which comes with the PVR) that controls what you record. You can use their software, or any software that can capture video via a USB connection (I'm using Arcsoft Showbiz). The built in recorder on the XBox is pretty limited, and I assume it would eat up a lot of space (which is at a premium for me since I try to get digital copies of all of my games).
I like recording my multiplayer games/races and sharing them. I always found it interesting to see what happened from other player's perspectives.

I agree with Epileptic Toast wholeheartedly. That sim was not just in the programming but in the event. Aside from Catalunya's sweeps and tights being a joy to navigate, the event as an entity was fun. Doc started dropping the humor early showing up whiskeyed but was a lot of fun! I was set to avenge my Sept 12th melt down to Khal Drogo at Road America. Said I was going to just run steadily with no big risk taking. Was executing to perfection having gone over 50% of the race on the first set of shoes and holding a steady P7. I knew I Saul's charge was eminent as he closed the gap about a second per lap; plus I still had to pit. But P8 wasn't a lofty goal and actually higher than expected. Yet, on lap 19 or 20 I had an "electrical failure" (crappy DSL) and got disconnected. Bummer. Otherwise, a grand occurance. Wish I could have stayed tuned for more of the Doc Holiday show. That was worth the gate fee itself.
