For all those interested in racing the GT3 Series. Install Skype on your xbox, and then either post here, PM me here, or message me in xbox with the email address/user name that you set up skype with. It is possible and does work to get as many as 16 people all in the same chat channel using this method.

I have just revamped the point system to give a more even spread: 25for first, -5 seconds, -4 third, -3 fourth and so on, and also will be giving 1 point to all players who at least start the race. I think this will also not totally penalize people who have DQ's or DC's, but will also help me keep track of attendance and placement priority for each future race. As I've said in the other thread, people who do not race the first race will not be excluded from future races.

opticalhercules - How did you get the image in your signature block. I looked in the profile and it only allows text (as far as I can tell).

opticalhercules - How did you get the image in your signature block. I looked in the profile and it only allows text (as far as I can tell) To put your "spotter" card in your signature. you will need to go to your "profile" then click "Edit Profile" then click the "personal" tab then scroll down to the signature box and past this code:
Let me know if this works for you

you might want to provide the url for each image as you post them. Will make it easier for everyone to use.

Finally figured out how to use the table system on the forums, so will keep a running tally of points and results from each race on this thread.

Your consistency has been impressive John.
I need to get game together. My pit mishaps have really come back to bite me.

This weekend's race will be my downfall. Right now my goal is just to finish. Can't complete two laps on free practice without having to repair. If the bump/dip just before the hard left in the middle of the slalom doesn't kill me, then oversteering and spinning on the right just before that does. This track really is hell for me.

This track unsettles the mclaren so much, especially on the left after the chicanes going in to the back straight.

Points updated to include Road America Night race. I think the time progression settings were perfect. Qual was a bit tough with the sun glare, but the race starting in twilight and progressing to full dark was great. I will have to keep this in mind for future races/series.
Catalunya GP coming up next weekend, 9/19!

I've updated the scoreboard with points form 9/26 at Nurburgring GP, and also factored the two lowest scores for each racer that has been subtracted from their total.
Kind of ironic the only person who really lost points from this scoring system was me... lol oh well.

Final Race points added, Final rankings posted.
Thank god it's done!
Something new to come soon depending on what happens with beetes' series plans. I have some business trips coming up over the next month so we'll see what happens after that.

That was a great series even though I joined quite late on in the schedule. Thanks Optical for putting in the time and effort to run this, I had some great racing moments in this league and learned a lot about PCars from all involved. This group seems to be the perfect mix of hardcore sim, laid back casual, and well humoured guys, which is great fun and very entertaining! I wish I had been in it from the beginning so I could have been up there for the championship, but oh well. It was definitely worth running with you guys and this well run series never produced a dull moment. Also, congrats to Beetes for the series win!

Good job running the league Optical and thank you. Congratulations on winning the series Beetes.
That was a lot of fun racing with everyone and look forward to the next series with whichever cars we end up in.
